About My Learning in Public

A while ago I came across Austin Kleon’s book Show Your Work. In it, Kleon encourages especially artists and other creatives to share their ideas, knowledge and work in progress with the community to “gain an audience that they can then leverage when they need it—for fellowship, feedback, or patronage.” The book reminded me of John Stepper’s method of Working Out Loud, which has been summarised as “observable work + narrating your work”.
